Grab a piece of paper and a pencil and Draw Your Downtown for a chance to win a day downtown and be featured on our page! It could be a storefront, an entire block, an intersection, people shopping or even working, an event or whatever else – even a lamp post. The ideas are limitless!

To help with ideas, the perimeters of Downtown Kearney are the south side of 25th Street down to the north side of Railroad Street and a half block west of 2nd Avenue to a half block east of Avenue B. Our official events include the Spring Open House, Super Hero Day, Taste & Tour, Rockin' the Bricks summer concert series, Summer Sidewalk Sales, BBQ on the Bricks, Trick-or-Treating on the Bricks, the Holiday Open House, Small Business Saturday, the Christmas Walk, the Cookie Walk and Winter Whiteout Sales. We host many other events and those are welcome too.

The age categories are:
Up to 12
13 to 17
18 and up

Participants are welcome to use any art tools and supplies. We do prefer that all work be done on blank paper.

Post them to social media with the hashtags #drawyourdowntown and #downtownkearney or e-mail them to bricks@downtownkearney.com.

The winners will be announced on Monday, March 30th. The day downtown includes somewhere to shop, something to do and somewhere to eat – a $100 package.
